DOG AND OWNER INTERVENTION
Understanding dog psychology and behavioral issues is key to developing a dog and training their owner(s). Obedencia K9 staff is trained in dog Psychology 101 to best understand the behavior drives that can cause training conflicts and utilizes the key drivers to establish a training regimen. Intervening in human and dog companion relationships is needed when an owner cannot establish wanted behaviors or rid unwanted behaviors in their dog(s). We assist with determining the root causes that limits the relationship and we create a solution to unrestricted the learning capabilities of your dog.
BEHAVIORAL REHABILITATION
There are two behaviors in dogs, either wanted or unwanted. We, along with each dog owner, determine these behaviors and develop a custom plan of action to either develop a wanted behavior or diminish an unwanted behavior. Common behavior rehabilitations examples we train, and not limited to, property destruction (anxiety driven), excessive chewing, crate training, high energy exertion, dog aggression, potty training, and noise nuisance (excessive unnecessary barking).

This also establishes real world applications (uncontrolled environments) such as walking off leash and recalls.
